As per the new circular by msbte exam, "summer 2021 exams are online MCQ-based proctored exam."
and there are two types of proctoring:
- Human proctoring
- bot proctoring
As per the new circular msbte exam is a human proctored exam. This means it's gradually been proctored by humans itself, so there is 1 supervisor per 30 students for online proctoring.

What is proctoring?
Proctored exams are timed exams that you take while proctoring software monitors your computer's desktop along with webcam video and audio. The data recorded by the proctoring software is transferred to a proctoring service for review. So as we know, it's human proctoring.

What Precautions should you take while giving the exam?
- Sitting in proper position and your face should be visible on camera.
- Sit where your face can visible clearly means in plenty of sunlight.
- Always remember to charge your mobile phone/laptops well before exams.
- Having proper speed of internet (at least 5mbs) and 1.5 Gb internet pack per day.
- No books/notes should be carried during exams.
- No other person should be in the same room in which you are giving exams.
- Carry a calculator and a rough page with a pen.
